Coming soon.....'The Competency Curriculum Toolkit' Teaching Children not Subjects - by Jackie Beere and Helen Boyle
This book will show you how to use the PLTs (personal, learning and thinking skills) in a competency based curriculum for KS3. By combining subjects in project based learning students can be engaged and excited whilst developing skills and attitudes essential for success in exams and employment.

QCA project - Jackie is working with 3 schools designing competency-based curriculum projects to deliver to Year 8 students. This work is being filmed as a resource for QCA by Independent Thinking Ltd.
Jackie is creating a programme to train trainers in Learning to Learn techniques, ready for a roll out to all teachers in Poland later in 2008.
